About Me
This handsome greyhound is called Olly.
Olly is a young lad who arrived in the UK through Norfolk Greyhound Rescue last November.
He is only 18 months old and had a very bad start in life.
His owner ( when he lived in Ireland ) kept him in a shed! Thats it, nothing else, no walks, no love and no interaction with any other dogs.
Olly was brought over to the UK and went to a lovely family, who already had 2 NGR hounds and a Jack Russell.
Because of Olly’s start, he is a timid boy.
He suffers from separation anxiety. Although his current family do leave him for short periods.
He isn’t destructive, but, will mess his bed up in frustration.
He doesn’t like to go walkies, and is happy to play in the garden.
He loves the car !
He will walk lovely on the lead, but is easily spooked.
Olly loves to play, big style. ( unlike most greyhounds ) he loves bitey face and tearing up and down the garden.
Unfortunately, this week, Olly and one of the other resident greys, were looping about, and got over excited and sadly the JRT Benny ended up in the vets.
The family have decided the best to do for Olly is find him a new home with a large garden, someone at home 99% of the time.
A rural location, no kids, as they do worry him.
He doesn’t have any food aggression.
He isn’t cat friendly.
Up until yesterday, he has been fine with the JRT. But, we obviously feel a home as either an only dog, or one with a dog that loves to play.
The pictures are not good ones, they were taken when Olly arrived in the UK last November.
Better photo’s on their way, once it stops raining !
If you think you could offer this beautiful lad a forever home, please conatct us.
