About Me

It’s a full house… meet Bingo!

Arriving at our centre, this young 1-year old male lurcher was so incredibly scared that he had to be carried to his new comfy, warm bed. With a lot of love, patience and time, Bingo then slowly begun to let his carers into his world.
In the time Bingo has been with us, we have had to build his confidence from scratch. This has involved gradually introducing him to new environments on site, new people and new canine companions. It is important to emphasise that Bingo’s new forever home will need to be fully dedicated to earning his trust so that they can continue this journey with him so that he can fully embrace life and enjoy all the adventures that come with it.

We have learnt that Bingo can be a playful chap when he’s comfortable in your presence and loves a good snuggle with his favourite people, or a good play with his favourite toys (though squeaky ones can still be intimidating to him).
The team here at Lincoln Farm would be more than happy to help Bingo’s new family settle this brave lad into his new life, and offer advice on how to navigate his needs. Like we did at Lincoln Farm, we feel that taking everything one step and one day at a time will be the best approach. For instance, it could be a case of showing Bingo your home room by room, and then slowly widening his world starting with very quiet walking locations and some short car journeys. Although initially just some garden time would be more than enough, so a safe enclosed garden would be very important for Mr Bingo. We hope that his garden will become a place of peace for him where he can stretch his legs without worrying.

Although he can sometimes be hesitant to approach new people and situations, deep down he is such a cheeky chappie! He particularly loves having zoomie times with his doggie friends and due to this we feel Bingo would benefit from living with a quietly confident relaxed medium/ large dog who can show him that the world is not only a safe place but can also be lots of fun. Bingo would need a home without any resident felines or small fluffy animals.
We don’t know anything about Bingo’s past, but it is quite obvious that he hasn’t had the best start to life, and that he hasn’t had many opportunities to explore, learn and make friends. To give him the best start moving forwards we think he’d be most comfortable living with adults and older teenagers (14 and upwards) who would be ready and excited to invest their time and love to help him lead the happy and full life he deserves.
If you feel you’re ready to hit the jackpot and find out more about our bighearted Bingo and can provide the loving home he needs, then please give our Lincoln farm Centre a call and they will be happy to discuss more with you.
