About Me

Say hello to Jack!

Jack is an ex-racer so we have no history on him before coming into our care. He was initially worried when meeting new people when he first came to us but has since settled and shown himself to be more open to meeting new people in a really friendly manner. Once he knows you, he really enjoys company and a gentle fuss.

Due to his more worried side when moving into a new environment, new owners should take things slow to start with and allow Jack to approach in his own time until a bond has been formed. He has been excited and friendly when meeting new dogs but has also shown a worried side with more over the top dogs. Jack would benefit from having some friendly and steady doggy friends to help build his confidence.

While staying with us, Jack has been taken on foster to give him a nice break from kennels. He has shown to adapt to home life quite nicely, enjoying some fuss from his foster carers and picking up house training very quickly. His foster carers have described him as a 'real sweetheart' and a very polite and gentle boy.

Jack will love a home that has nice, quiet walking routes due to not having much experience around busy traffic and will need to build that exposure slowly to begin with. He will also need a home that can cater to a longer settling period as he will potentially find his new home quite overwhelming to begin with.
