About Me

A new year surely needs a new lad to brighten your days. And we simply can’t think of a better candidate for the role than the wonderful Wilbur.
We would love to find the bestest home for the bestest boy…so let us tell you a bit about this truly terrific pupster and all the things that make him the frosting to our cupcake.

Wilbur has had a very challenging beginning to life, having been removed from his mum far earlier than would have been ideal. However, this scrumptious joy boy doesn’t let the start of his story hold him back from making every day count.

Currently being fostered by a very kind human soul, we’re told that Wilbur has got stuck right in to home life, living harmoniously alongside a variety of other species of companion animals.

‘Wilby-Woo’ has also been attending puppy parties with his lovely foster ‘paw-rent,’ and we’re reliably informed that he gets along with everyone he meets…even though this big baby towers above most of his new four-legged pals! A sweet and kind boy, he certainly is.

Now…here’s the thing about Wilbur that makes him extra special…

Upon checking out his health with our lovely local vet, it has been identified that Wilbur is living with a heart murmur, and has a congenital issue with his heart’s mitral valve. This is currently not causing any changes to his heart’s function that needs treatment.

It is likely, over the course of his lifetime, that this issue will progress. To establish his condition and any potential additional needs, Wilbur will need to have his heart’s health monitored every 6 to 12 months, and our team will run through all of this information with you.

So, who are we hoping to meet on behalf of one of the sweetest lads to have ever needed a helping paw?

We’d love to hear from you if you are hoping to make a huge difference to the life and happiness of a puppy who definitely deserved to have a better beginning. If you have a strong desire to offer a space in your home to a young dog, who only wants to share his love. And, we especially want to hear from you if your heart full of love could help to mend a broken heart – in more ways than one.

Wilbur’s life may not turn out to be huge in quantity, but if you could provide the quality, he will re-pay you with a love beyond the measure of time.
