*Austin is looking for a foster placement or his fur-ever home* No home is complete without a snuggly lurcher! If you agree, then Austin is the one for you. At six-years-old, Austin is very eager to find his forever home where he can strike the perfect balance between fun and relaxation. Austin came to us from a home where he was very much loved so we would be able to tell his new owners all about his likes and dislikes. Since he has been at Lincoln Farm, we have had so much fun getting to know his personality and have definitely seen those likes and dislikes to be true. For instance, Austin may be a big boy, but he doesn’t like the rain and won’t dare venture out in bad weather without his coat! As you might be able to tell, he is a gentleman who prefers his home comforts. We can see Austin quite happily curled up in front of a roaring fireplace! Austin has shown that he much prefers calmer dogs who also enjoy his pace of life. However, please don’t think for one second that this boy doesn’t enjoy his exercise – Austin LOVES a zoomie or two! He can often get a little too excited feeling the wind rush through his fur and can become a little grabby, so we have been utilising a muzzle when he is off-lead to help with this. When on-lead, Austin is a pleasure to walk and will happily potter alongside you. We feel that Austin would thrive in a calm and relaxed adult only home, in which he is the only pet. He would love all of your attention and can’t wait to prove himself as the oversized loveable lapdog that he is!
